Dr. Quesnell Hartmann, PhD co-founded EpiWorks, Inc. in 1997 with Dr. David Ahmari, PhD and was CEO until the company was acquired by II-VI Incorporated, now Coherent Corp, a global leader in engineered materials and optoelectronic components in 2016. He has served as its General Manager since then.

Dr. Hartmann earned M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
